Thanks to the support of InTouch Software, we have been are pleased to announce the IDPE 2017 Annual Conference bursary scheme has been extended for 2017 and we have offered 12 bursary places.
These free places will include attendance at all conference sessions as well as lunch and daytime refreshments on either Monday 12 June or Tuesday 13 June 2017. Bursary recipients can select which day they attend based on the sessions that will be most beneficial to them. View the programme highlights.

What is the bursary scheme?
IDPE is committed to supporting all those involved in schools’ development and through the bursary scheme is able to offer 12 free day places to delegates who otherwise would not be able to attend.
Successful applicants will receive a free place on either Monday 12 or Tuesday 13 June 2017. This will include all refreshments and lunch.
Who is eligible?
Bursary places are available to anyone working within an independent or state school. This may be an alumni relations professional, fundraiser or member of the senior management team.
Applicants do not have to be IDPE members and your school does not need to be currently fundraising.
Applications can be made on behalf of another person.
The application process
An application form can be downloaded from the website and should be emailed to email@example.com no later than 5pm on Friday 17 February 2017. Applicants will need to provide a statement of need on the application form.
When can I apply?
The bursary scheme opens on Thursday 1 December 2017 and closes at 5pm on Friday 17 February 2017.
Who will decide if I get a bursary?
All applications will be considered by an independent review committee.
When will I hear if I have a bursary?
All applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision by Monday 6 March 2017. The decision of the committee is final.
How can I ensure that I don’t miss out on booking onsite accommodation, if I am waiting to hear whether my application has been successful?
You can indicate on the application form that, should your application be successful, you will be requiring overnight accommodation, and a room will then be held for you. We will ask you to confirm whether you wish to confirm the room reservation within two weeks of receiving notification of the outcome of your bursary application.
If successful, can I book to attend the full conference?
Yes - a booking form will be sent to all successful applicants with all items available to book, listed separately. This will include the second conference day, conference drinks reception and dinner and pre-conference events.
If I was unsuccessful will I still get Early Bird prices?
Yes Early Bird prices will be held for all bursary applicants.
